You mentioned pocket monsters also known as Monsters in my Pocket little toys that I used to collect and line up and order all around my bedroom. I didn't have a gameboy or any nintendo console so I had to play Pokemon via an emulator on my family computer, I remember having to figure out away to run a copy of blue and red at the same time in order to trade the exclusive pokemon and for the ones that needed to be traded to evolve. I remember the hype when yellow was released and you could have pikachu follow you.
I love Sylveon (due to the 🏳️⚧️ color scheme) and Umbreon. Charizard is probably my fav OG Pokémon.
