Because we are working with young people in the UK, whenever we run a group there needs to be someone qualified as a safeguarding person available and there are only 2 working at Grove so it's hard to add weekend courses without more staff! But someday the goal is to have staff for more days and hours.
For now, on Saturday there is the Being Me group but it's 9am UK time so that's like 4am ET!
Over 10 weeks, with up to 8 young people and 2 Mentors, Being Me participants move through themes that support connection, insight and self-understanding:
Session 1: Getting to know each other – sharing joys, glimmers and interests
Session 2: Neurodiversity and intersecting identity
Session 3: What is ‘autism’? What does being Autistic mean to me and others?
Session 4: Communication, socialising and friendships
Do you plan to expand to weekends? We live in the US and I think my girls would be in school during the meet ups online.

This is great. I just posted in Neuroawesome Life on Facebook. I hope this goes really well.
