Listen now (76 mins) | In this episode we announce a brand new started pack revisiting 'The Ten Pillars' that highlights one updated pillar each week with a replay of an episode that brings that theme to life!
Greta Thunberg stands for truth???? That's debatable. I think she stands for opportunism; now that environmentalism isn't as cool she's changed her scam.
I disagree. She has realized the intersectionality between social justice issues and the environment. There is no "scam" to calling out injustice wherever it is presented. Many activists are not necessarily experts, but are there to inspire due to their passion. Her address to the United Nations received plenty of praise from climate scientists for bringing attention to the issue.
(To clarify, I am not enough of an expert to have an opinion on global warming, but neither is she. Social media culture encourages every random person to have an opinion about everything, which is highly destructive.)
Well I will clarify for you from her autobiography SHE believes she stands for TRUTH. She is a great example of justice sensitivity. It's not that autistic people are necessarily RIGHT or that we all AGREE, as much as that we feel it deeply and are intensely convicted about our beliefs, such that we will go further than most people. Another example here would be Ayn Rand if you like that option better.
