I felt so seen in this episode!! I'm a gymnast, juggler, and long distance runner, and I've run my body into the ground a few too many times without recognizing it until it was too late. Burnout is real- and yet it's extra hard when movement is what keeps your body going. What a conundrum to need rest and intense stimming at the same time! Thank you for sharing your story, Andralyn. Where can we watch your documentary?

Wow wow wow. I related to a lot of Andralyn's story, despite being decidedly not athletic. Great episode.

I was listening to this on my drive and Angela's story of working to burnout resonated with me so hard it was like being punched in the gut. It described exactly what I am trying to come back from right now. And all the "just push through it" and "just get over it" aren't helping, especially with so much of it coming from my own trauma brain.

I am so happy you found resonance in my story. This is how we heal. The click for me was when my sister said “you always do better when you have a thing” that got my mind churning from how can I feel better faster to what interests me. I started noticing when I cared about anything. And that’s when I really found myself again. The only thing I liked at all was sunrise. So for a long time I let that be enough. Sending you healing and restoration wishes.

Wow...Elle Cordova (fka Reina del Cid)! I've been watching her sessions on YT for ages. I particularly loved the Sunday morning sessions which now seemed to be called Elle & Toni. I never guessed...even with the Star Trek merchandise all over her shelves. Figures now. I always liked her humor.
