Newly diagnosed and fairly new homeowner here. The person who welcomed me to Autistica also sent me to this podcast and I keep learning things that EXPLAIN SO MUCH. I'm slowly working my way through the episodes from the beginning. I actually was driven to come comment because in this episode Matt again mentions his experience hiring an autistic person to handle his HVAC stuff (I can't remember which episode he mentioned it prior to this, but then I heard it again in this one and was like AHA) and I was wondering how to find these folks. Because I 1000% would rather hire fellow autistic folks to do work I need done on my house because I would trust them to do it the right way.
